Polyurethane FDA & ATEX flexibles are manufactured in house in the UK, we can offer bespoke design clear thermoplastic polyurethane film TPU flexible sleeves, bellows and flanged connectors. The clear polyurethane is FDA approved and can also be ATEX rated for hazardous explosive environments. The polyurethane has good abrasion properties and being clear allows a visual monitoring of product flow.
Clear flexible PU sleeves.
We can produce clear FDA flexible sleeves manufactured from a thin TPU film which can also be ATEX rated. These PU sleeves can be produced to any given diameter and length in various wall thickness from 0.1mm up to 1.5mm. Conical, offset and branch pieces can also be produced bespoke.
For damaged mating spigots we can offer foam or rubber encapsulated hems for added sealing properties. We can also incorporate vacuum support rings to prevent flexible collapse under negative pressures, thus maintaining flow.
Clear flexible flanged connectors and chutes.
Using the same PU films we can manufacture a range of flexible connectors to suit customer designs such as flanged ends, square to round flexible transition pieces and conical flanged chutes.
As well as the clear polyurethane fabrications, we also stock heavier wall 1.5mm blue and black polyurethane along with a 1.5mm nylon reinforced black polyurethane. These can all be used in the manufacture of PU sleeves, bellows and flanged connectors.
