Polyurethane FDA & ATEX bellows are manufactured in house in the UK. We can offer bespoke design clear thermoplastic polyurethane film TPU flexible bellows. The clear PU is FDA approved and can also be ATEX rated for hazardous explosive environments. The polyurethane has good abrasion properties and being clear allows a visual monitoring of product flow.
Each PU bellows is can be manufactured to any given diameter and length to suit specific applications. The standard design incorporates a single central convolution to allow for axial compression. If more movement is required additional convolutions can be added to the design. For higher vibration and sieve applications we can increase the number of convolutions further to accommodate the extra movement both axially and laterally.
We can offer the same designs as outlined, with the addition of flanges, conical reducer or with internal PU flow-sleeves to help guide the product and prevent lips where product build up can be a problem.
For applications where movement or misalignment is not an issue, a standard polyurethane flexible may be better suited.
